I took my annual trip to the New York International Auto Show at the Javits Center to see what's new for the future and beyond. As you saw my two previous posts on the Skyline and Z 50th anniversary and the new gen Supra, this year auto show was off to a good start. Other manufacturers brought their future models. Subaru unveiled their outback wagon which is turbocharged. Lexus brought their track ready RC-F Track Edition. Acura debuted their PMC TLX sedan which was hand built by NSX engineers and looked amazing in Valencia Red Pearl. Only 360 of these will be produced for $50K. Koenigsegg revealed the Jesko which tops out at 300mph which could go head to head with a NHRA nitro class car which costs a easy $3 million. break out the check books ladies and gentleman. As I went to downstairs hall of Javits, I know Ravspec puts a nice booth with the Rays and Volk wheels as well as new comer Crown Speed Lab which debuted their time attack S2000 along with Prime NYC and Voltex which came from Japan to work on this project. The car was just flawless. Overall, The NYIAS was a great show for 2019. Looking forward to next year.
