Since I last posted anything on here, I lost my 2010 Civic EX FA1. The day after Cinco De Mayo, I was driving home from work. I took rt 280 as I was going. I ran over something on the highway and I knew my oil pan had busted, The oil light came on then check engine light. I then got the car towed and found out it was more than just the pan so a shop quoted the repair at 5K. ouch that's steep may as well do a K series swap at that point which woulda been more with changing the subframe. I then took it to High Intake Performance in which we were gonna get a new motor to replace the current one. But insurance had other plans. They declared my civic a total loss due to the high mileage that it has at 177K. what to do?? I guess go the route of letting the car go have them cut me a check and i'll use it for down payment on a new or newer ride. So I settled debating and listening to unrealistic opinions on what should be next. I found what I wanted, a 2017 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback. I always liked the body style of the hatchback since seeing it at the NYIAS back in 2016. It sports 18 inch wheels, a 1.5 liter turbocharged engine with Honda's EarthDreams technology and all of the rest of the goodies. I did a mini shoot yesterday after picking up the car from Open Road Honda in Edison,Nj. Im impressed with it it does pack a punch on the highway.
